Art Quilt "Dusk" Completed
"Dusk" is 14 by 18 inches, and now finished. I think the profile of the largest deer looks like he could either be facing toward you or facing away from you. I stitched extensively on the bottom half, and with the use of acrylic paintsticks I wanted to create the idea of shadows from the setting sun on the woodland floor.

Sorting through my scrap boxes led to creative motivation. I'm making this piece from scraps and paints so far. I see more trees coming and a few distant grazing deer too.
