Here's the baby quilt I made for my new grandson that is expected in early November. As I know the primary colors are easiest seen by babies, I made this modern pattern with large circles in primary colors.
According to his parents, it is a hit!
It's about 60 by 66 inches or so, and will be nice for the baby to look at, as well as use as a toddler. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed this departure from the traditional baby quilt.

Thanks, Gwen. The pattern is from a book called Modern Quilts......by Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr.......I arranged mine differently, but the idea is theirs. I understand infants can "see" primary colors easier than pastels, which is what we often use for baby quilts.

I love this, Christine. I love primary colors even at my age...(a carry-over from the baby stage?) At any rate, definitely a winner! So is the pattern. Your ideas constantly amaze me.
