Forest Floor
This quilt was inspired by a visit to a state park in Florida and observing the ground while walking in the wooded areas and noticing a single bright green sprig announcing spring time. Collage technique, overlaid with tulle. Extensive free motion quilting. 17 by 21.5 inches. Forest Floor hung in the Journal Quilt Exhibit at International Quilt Festival in 2008.
